Square Enix previously acquired in February 2024 a new property for its print and digital release schedule with Wash It All Away. Known originally as Kirei ni shite moraemasu, it began in 2017 in Gangan Joker for Square Enix and was completed with ten volumes out in print in Japan from creator Mitsuru Hattori.

The show has Kenta Onishi directing it from the scripts and series composition by Toko Machida. Azuma Tozawa is handling the character designs woth Okuru to Noboru handling the animation production.
Hattori began their career back in 2000 with Inu Neko Jump! They have seventeen properties in their name so far.
