Impossibly long titles continue to get published as light novels, and the series I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability saw a TV anime adaptation as announced in November 2022. Jin Tamamura is directing it from the series composition by Naoki Tozuka. Shigeru Nishigori is handling the character designs with animation production at Tsumugi Akita Anime Lab.
The series saw an April 1st, 2024, premiere date and wrapped up its season in the best way possible – by announcing a second season at the end of June 2024. With the second season scheduled for a July 9th, 2025, set, the project has now expanded with three new cast members with one of them, Nako Misaki, also on board to perform the ending theme song “Meteor.”

The light novels from Kenkyo na Circle and illustrator Meru began in 2020 with nine volumes published as of the announcement. Kodansha Comics is releasing the manga in English.

Plot Concept: Prince Lloyd wasn’t always a prince…in fact, his previous life is one he remembers perfectly: he was a sorcerer, of sorts.
