A provocative new series portraying a surveillance society from Kappy, the creator of Hidarikiki no Eren!

Known originally as Otona Taisen (大人大戦), the Manga Plus service previously added a new English simulpub series with War of the Adults. The manga comes from writer Kappy and artist Masaaki Tsuzuki, which is serialized in Shonen Jump+ in Japan. Check out the series page here.

Now, the first volume has arrived in Japan today to expand its readership, and the finalized cover artwork has landed below. Which is a touch disappointing as it’s the main visual from prior to its initial serialization and nothing new.

Kappy made their debut in 2015 with SNS Police and have eight properties to their name so far. This is the debut work of Tsuzuki.

Shonen Jump+ is a free online manga magazine and app created by Shueisha that launched in 2014. It features original titles, content from other Shueisha magazines, and digital editions of Weekly Shōnen Jump. The magazine includes a variety of series, including shōnen manga for teenage boys, as well as titles for adults and female readers.

Plot Concept: What makes a ‘proper adult’? Inspired by the words of his late father, Yutaro Urashima sought to become an upstanding member of society by developing and strictly adhering to his own “Articles of Adulthood.” Little did he know, however, that those same articles would go on to dramatically change the world… A new series from the author of Hidarikiki no Eren! Witness the dramatic battle for survival in a surveillance society where reputation is everything!
