DMM Pictures Reveals 1st ‘Aquarion: Myth of Emotions’ Anime Blu-ray Release Packaging

With anime adaptations in 2005 and then in 2012 and 2015, the Aquarion property is set to rise again. A fourth series with Aquarion: Myth of Emotions, or MOE, arrived with a January 9th, 2025 premiere. The series has Shoji Kawamori listed as the supervisor while Kenji Itoso is directing it from the series composition by Sadayuki Murai. Masashi Kduo is handling the character designs with Satelight on the animation production.

The Japanese home video releases are being handled by DMM Pictures and they’ve set a three-volume release on Blu-ray only. They’ll be priced at 13,000 yen each with four episodes per set as you can see with the schedule below.

The production revealed all of the main cover artwork previously and is now starting to put out the full packaging spread visuals for it with the first one below.

The Japanese cast includes Hiroki Nanami as Sun, Kiyono Yasuno as Kyōko Munakata, Yūmi Yuzu as Kazuhiko Saruta, Yumiri Hanamori as Sakko Ōtori, Aki Toyosaki as Toshi Hatano, Azumi Waki as Momohime Amaha, Konomi Kohara as Sayo Ichiki, and Makoto Koichi as Rimiya Tsukishiro.

Plot Concept: Set in Kanagawa prefecture’s Fujisawa city, it will center specifically on the city’s iconic Enoshima island. The island and city are visible above along with three Vector Machine mecha.
