The light novel series Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter was announced as getting an anime adaptation back in October 2023, setting it for a 2025 debut. Nobuyoshi Nagayama directs the show, and Kazuya Ishiguri assisted. Megumi Shimizu is overseeing the scripts with Akiko Toyoda on the character designs, while Studio Blanc is handling the animation production.
With plans for a July 2025 debut announced recently, the latest update is a more formal date of July 5th, 2025, set for it. This comes alongside a new character promo featuring Yūto Uemura as Allen.

- Kyōka Moriya as Ellie Walker

The opening theme song is “Wish for you” as performed by Ami Maeshima.
The series comes from writer Riku Nanano and illustrator cura and is known originally as Kōjo Denka no Kateikyōshi. It began in 2017 and is released in print through Kadokawa where there are fifteen volumes out as of the announcement. A manga adaptation began in 2019 and has three volumes out so far, as serialized in Shonen Ace Plus by Tamura Muto.
