“Badgers of the same hole”
What They Say:
Sousuke is a part-time worker living in an old, rusty apartment. It’s not a bad place to live though, with a cute big tits landlady Yuki who takes care of the place. Also, another cute girl, Sunao, living upstairs is great too. One day, when Sousuke was bashing off, the ceiling came falling down with Sunao, and she lands on his…

Based on the manga by Iburō that debuted in 2016 and completed in 2024 with two volumes, the anime adaptation landed early in the summer of 2018 with a broadcast version and an uncut version. With its English subtitled release, it’s localized as What She Fell on Was the Tip of My Dick. The adaptation was one of the early releases from AnimeFesta, which were definitely weaker and not all that great in terms of animation and scripting. The scripting is certainly shallow here, but the show at last looks pretty good with great designs and a solid management of the budget to put in the quality where it needs to be. The show has Tomoshiyo Jinki directing based on the series scripts by them. Satoshi Urushihara serves as the character designer here, which is a draw with Ark producing the animation.
The show has spent most of its time in the apartment room, but this one takes the trio to a hot spring for a minor getaway. Sousuke has big dreams of bedding them both in this kind of ultra fantasy sequence that his mind made up, but it falls apart before the episode even opens, as Sunao passes out from drinking so much. To his surprise, however, Yuki has lost all her inhibitions because of what she’s had to drink, and she’s now stripped down in front of him and draws him into the hot spring where she crawls onto his lap, facing him. Yuki’s panic over it when she realizes what the grinding was leading toward is what wakes up Sunao, making for an awkward situation. One that gets her to nudge him out to the festival a bit without Yuki as she confesses to him that she doesn’t want to be a third wheel anymore and just wants to be with him. It is, quite possibly, the most confusing trip for Sousuke as he’s just dumb as rocks.
In Summary:
Sousuke is the luckiest dumb guy I’ve run across in these shows in some time, considering his situation and the way the confessions and interest is going down. The show, admittedly, doesn’t need to make sense, and it’s all about maximizing the sexy times. And it does it well, giving us a very welcome episode away from the apartment, the hole in the ceiling, and the uncertainty about the dynamic between them. I do like that Sunao makes clear what she wants, but Sousuke still isn’t sure that she’s what he wants in the long term because of his lust for Yuki. And, quite honestly, his hope for a full threesome. Ah, the confidence of dumb young men.
