Seven Seas Entertainment earlier this summer announced the license acquisition of both the light novel and manga series The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold To Another Kingdom by Fuyutsuki Koki, Masami, and Mago Ayakita. We learned in October 2024 that there would be an adaptation and that the series would have Shuu Watanabe directing it from the scripts overseen by Keiichiro Ochi. Shuei Yamamoto is handling the character designs with TROYCA on the animation production.
With an April 9th, 2025, debut, the latest update is on the Japanese home video side. DMM Pictures is handling it with the twelve-episode series getting released as two separate Blu-ray editions. They’ll be priced at 18,000 yen each and you can see the full schedule and details below.
The cast includes Yui Ishikawa as Philia, Kaede Hondo as Mia Adenauer, Kōhei Amasaki as Julius Ziltonia, Takuya Satō as Oswald Parnacorta, Shinnosuke Tachibana as Reyhart Parnacorta, Sora Tokui as Lina, Ken Narita as Leonardo, Kanna Nakamura as Himari, Shū Uchida as Grace Martilas, Kazuyuki Okitsu as Fernando Ziltonia, Miki Itō as Hildegarde Adenauer, Kentarō Itō as Georg Adenauer, Sayaka Ōhara as Cornelia Adenauer, and Yūya Murakami as Pierre.

Plot Concept: Philia’s family has produced saints for generations. It’s no surprise that she’s known as the greatest saint of all time—and set to marry the second prince, Julius. What no one expects is for Julius to call off the engagement, claiming that Philia’s perfection makes her charmless and unlikable. To add insult to injury, Philia is packed off to a neighboring country in exchange for gold and resources, forcing her to leave her homeland! Despite bracing herself for mistreatment, Philia finds a warm welcome in her new town, where she puts her saintly abilities to good use erecting barriers against monsters and curing epidemics. But even as she flourishes in her new life, her homeland is under threat of destruction!
