The Kizetsu Yuusha to Ansatsu Hime manga property revealed in February 2025 an anime adaptation with plans for a 2025 TV debut. The show, which translates as The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses, will be directed by Noriaki Akitaya from the series composition by Michiko Yokote. Takao Sano is handling the character designs with studio CONNECT handling the animation production.
With a July 2025 premiere date set previously, the latest update has come in with the first promotional video focusing on the character of Ciel. It also reveals that the ending theme song is “Suki Magazine” and is performed in-character for the three leads.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Haruka Shiraishi as Gore
- Hitomi Ueda as Anemone
- Iori Saeki as Ciel
- Shunsuke Takeuchi as Toto
The manga comes from writer Norishiro-chan and artist Yukiji Setsuda which began in 2022 as serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion for Akita Shoten with nine volumes as of the end of 2024 available. It’s not available in English at this time.
Norishiro-chan made their debut in 2021 with four short works before this ongoing series while Setsuda made their debut in 2021 with Suki Darake desu, Leader-san!
