A new anime adaptation was on track for a 2024 TV premiere with the manga series Tasuketsu getting the nod. The announcement revealed the main staff and cast, along with a promotional video and the main cast list. The series has Tatsuo Sato directing it and overseeing the scripts with Toru Hamazaki as the assistant director. Nami Hayashi is handling the character designs, and Satelight is handling the animation production.
With the main production information set earlier this year, the show saw a July 2nd, 2024, premiere date, and it’s scheduled to be a two-cour continuous show. With the series wrapping up, the home video releases have now been set with two Blu-ray box sets coming. The first set has ten episodes priced at 22,000 yen, while the second set comes in at fourteen episodes priced at 26,000 yen.

The manga from Taiga Miyakawa began in 2013 and has been released in multiple parts over the years. The third part began in 2017 and is ongoing.

Plot Concept: All of a sudden, people all over the world die because of a majority decision started by the “Emperor.” Survivors have to take a majority decision at 00:00 am, then the majority of people will have to die. The protagonist high school boy Saneatsu Narita and his schoolmates decide to defeat the Emperor.
