Syfy Reveals 1st ‘Revival’ Live-Action Adaptation Trailer & Premiere Date

Syfy announced an order for an adaptation of the Revival comics back in March 2024, with plans for a 2025 debut, and that’s getting closer. The comic book series comes from writer Tim Seeley and artist Mike Norton and was released through Image Comics. The live-action adaptation is now set for a June 12th, 2025, debut with the release of the first trailer below

Plot Concept: For one day in rural central Wisconsin, the dead came back to life. Now, it’s up to Officer Dana Cypress to deal with the media scrutiny, religious zealots, and government quarantine that have come with them. In a town where the living have to learn to deal with those who are supposed to be dead, Officer Cypress must solve a brutal murder, and everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect.
