It looks like another anime adaptation may be in the works going by a domain registration with Kanan-sama Is Easy as Hell! As we always caution in talking about domain registrations, they are not guarantees and we only talk about them to give folks a chance to take a peek at the title before its potential announcement. The manga comes from creator nonco and is known originally as Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi which began in 2022 as serialized through Weekly Shonen Magazine for Kodansha. It has eight volumes so far in Japan as of November 2024.
While all of this surfaced just about a month ago, we’re getting closer to something being realized as the property has now revealed that it has an “IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT” that will be made on April 16th, 2025. That’s also the day that the ninth volume of the manga is set to be released. So if it is an anime, it’ll likely have a wraparound on the volume and we might learn about it a few days prior as copies begin to ship to retailers.
