‘Space Brothers’ Manga By Koyama Chuuya Gets Upcoming Weekly Morning Cover

Known originally as Uchuu Kyoudai, the Space Brothers manga has nabbed the upcoming 11/2025 marked installment of Weekly Morning magazine with the cover below. The work from Chuuya Koyama began in 2007 in Morning magazine for Kodansha and has forty-four volumes so far and is ongoing. It saw an anime adaptation that ran for almost a hundred episodes as well as a theatrical anime film.

Koyama made their debut with Harujan in 2005 and brought out GGG in 2007 before Space Brothers took off which has been ongoing since 2007.

Morning is a weekly Japanese seinen manga magazine published by Kodansha. It debuted in 1982 as Comic Morning. The digital edition of the magazine is titled Weekly D Morning. It is the sister magazine of Evening and Afternoon.

Plot Concept: The year is 2025, the older brother decides to trust himself just one last time. It’s the start of an adventure that aims for Mars via JAXA in the town of Tsukuba! The official Space Brothers manga is ready to launch! Two brothers looked to the starry skies as children and made a promise. And now, in the year 2025, the younger brother, Hibito, is carrying out his promise. He is an astronaut who has been selected as a crew member for mankind’s first long-term base on the moon. Meanwhile, the older brother, Mutta, has just been fired from his job and is unemployed. A text message from Hibito sends him applying to be an astronaut and shooting for the stars.
