Faran Tahir Reprises ‘Iron Man’ Role For The ‘Vision’ Series

When the WandaVision show wrapped up after being the first Disney+ MCU TV series there was certainly talk of a few different spinoff ideas. We’re still pulling for the Kat Dennings and Randall Park idea of an X-Files-like series but the one that did get to production was the Agatha All Along spinoff.

One series that felt like it was definitely going to get made was one to explore what happened to Vision within it and we learned earlier this spring that Vision is on track with a showrunner and confirming that Paul Bettany will be returning. The project is set for a 2026 Disney+ debut with Terry Matalas of the third season of Star Trek: Picard coming on as the showrunner.

The project is continuing to build things out and another interesting cast member has joined with Faran Tahir, who was last seen in 2008’s Iron Man where he played Raza, the leader of the terrorist group that was after Tony Stark.

The announced cast includes:

  • Paul Bettany as Vision
  • James Spader as Ultron
  • Todd Stashwick

Check out the official site and Twitter.

Plot Concept: The series was set to focus on Bettany’s character’s efforts to regain his memories after the events of WandaVision.
