The Shaman King – The Superstar manga ended its serialization back in late 2023 when the magazine it ran in, Shonen Magazine Edge, was shuttered. We learned at the time that the series was not over and that it would resume in the future with details to come.
Back in August, we learned that the property was going to resume on the Magazine Pocket app with plans for an August 24th, 2024 return. That return has been short-lived, however, as the manga wrapped up a month ago. That now has the tenth and final volume being scheduled with the cover artwork released below ahead of its January 8th, 2025 release.
The property, a sequel to two previous Shaman King works, began in 2018 and has nine volumes released in Japan so far with Kodansha Comics bringing it out in English.
Takei made their debut in 1997 with Butsu Zone and has over a dozen non-Shaman King works to their name.
Plot Concept: Continuing after the events of Shaman King Flowers, the group of “Super Stars” will join together and spin together a new legend.
