
The Demon Lord 2099 anime was teased previously ahead of the Aniplex Online Fest 2023 event and now some details have come out for the project. Crunchyroll recently announced its pickup of the show for its fall 2024 debut. It’ll be available to subscribers in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
With an October 12th, 2024 premiere date, the latest update is the first preview of the tenth episode ahead of its December 14th, 2024 premiere. The series features the opening theme song is “Hollow” performed by Shiyui while the ending theme song “Spira” is performed by sekai.
In terms of production, Ryo Ando is directing it from the series scripts overseen by Yuichiro Momose. Ryousuke Tanigawa is handling the character designs and JC Staff is on board to handle the animation.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Satoshi Hino as Demon Lord Veltol
- Miku Itō as Machina
- Hana Hishikawa as Takahashi
- Daisuke Namikawa as Graham
- Masaya Matsukaze as Marcus
- Shizuka Itō as Kinohara
The light novel series began in January 2021 with two volumes out which have been released in English through Yen Press.
