Add another new anime TV series to our future with the Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru light novel series getting the nod back in August 2023. The announcement didn’t come with any details but it was eventually set last year for a 2024 debut. Recently, the official site offered up a sizable update as it’s been scheduled for an October 2024 premiere with the staff and cast revealed.
With an October 1st, 2024 premiere date, the latest update on this series comes from Crunchyroll where they’ve got a clip from the tenth episode where that was close… they almost kissed!
The series has Yuji Yanase directing it from the series composition by Sawako Hirabayashi. Jyun Hayase is handling the character designs with Maho Film on board for the animation production.

The novels began in 2018 by writer Izumi Ookido with illustrations from Jun Hayase through Kadokawa where it has three volumes in print so far while its digital original has close to 450 chapters available. No details about the adaptation were released. A manga adaptation by Akari Hoshi began in 2020.
