With the usual delay between the period and the reporting in place, Nielsen has updated to reveal the most-streamed shows in the US through the week ending September 1st, 2024. Netflix continues to dominate and this week holds onto six slots this time – though a few are shared slots.
This week, three titles have crossed the billion-minute mark as we get people getting through the last weeks of summer. This week saw Prison Break getting a resurgence with 1.1 billion minutes watched through Hulu and Netflix for its fourth week. Prime Video nabs the second slot for Rings of Power at just over a billion while Hulu does the same with Family Guy.
Disney+ gets its single slot for Bluey once again while Hulu gets another slot for Bob’s Burgers. Netflix is doing well with the AMC titles as we get A Discovery of Witches and Dark Winds charting.
Netflix has a number of shared titles with just once crossing the billion mark this time.
