2 min read

Known originally as Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki, the In the Clear Moonlit Dusk manga has nabbed the cover position of the upcoming 11/2024 marked Dessert magazine with some new artwork. The property comes from creator Mika Yamamori which began in 2020 as serialized in the magazine for Kodansha. It has eight volumes out in Japan with the most recent release in August 2024 and is available in English through Kodansha Comics. The series was nominated for the 46th, 47th, and 48th Annual Kodansha Manga Awards in the Shoujo Category from 2022 to 2024.

Yamamori made their debut in 2008 with Sugars and has about a dozen properties over the years.

Dessert is a Japanese shōjo/josei manga magazine published by Kodansha that began as a new shōjo magazine in 1996 after the demise of Shōjo Friend. The series that were still ongoing in Shōjo Friend were then moved to Dessert or The Dessert.

Plot Concept: Yoi Takiguchi’s long legs, deep voice, and handsome face are the perfect recipe for an attractive guy. Until people realize she is, in fact, a girl. Dubbed a “prince” by her peers since childhood, Yoi has all but given up on being seen as anything else. That is, until she bumps into Ichimura-sempai, the school’s other prince (who’s a he) and gets a taste of what it feels like to be seen for her true self. The story of the two high school princes starts here!
