The summer 2019 anime series Given was part of the Noitamina block on Fuji TV and Crunchyroll brought it out that season for a simulcast as well as eventually the feature film. The series is based on the manga by Natsuki Kizu which is serialized in Cheri+ magazine. It began in December 2017 and has five volumes out as of April 2019 when it aired.

Recently, this film saw its home video release set for an August 28th, 2024 release with limited edition DVD and Blu-ray releases. They’re priced at 6,500 yen and 7,500 yen respectively with a bonus materials that include:

Plot Concept: Somehow, the guitar that he used to love to play and the basketball games that he found so fun just lost their appeal…

That was until Ritsuka Uenoyama randomly met Mafuyu Sato. Ritsuka had started losing his passion for music in his everyday life, but then he hears Mafuyu sing for the first time. The song resonates with his heart and the distance between them starts to change.
