A new anime project is underway, with the June 2022 announcement that the manga series Oshi no Ko is getting an adaptation. The first season saw an April 12th, 2023 premiere and a second season announcement didn’t take long once the first season ended. We learned previously that the second season has been set for a July 2024 premiere with HIDIVE announcing their pickup of it.
With a July 3rd, 2024 premiere date set for it, a new promo has arrived that focuses on the ending theme song “Burning” as performed by hitsujibungaku. We previously learned that GEMN will perform the new opening theme song “Fatale” for the show.

Fans will not want to miss being part of the expected capacity audience!”
The project was directed by Daisuke Hiramaki and Chao Nekotomi with Jin Tanaka handling the series composition. Kanna Hirayama is handling the character designs with Doga Kobo working on the animation production.

Plot Concept: The series follows Gorō, a doctor who coincidentally handles the childbirth of his favorite idol Ai Hoshino, who took a hiatus from the entertainment industry to give birth to her twin babies. However, just before Ai gives birth, Gorō dies from an accident, but is reborn as one of Ai’s children, Aquamarine Hoshino, with his memories fully intact.
