The anime adaptation of the light novel series Reincarnated as a Sword was revealed in September 2021 on the wraparound. It saw an October 2022 debut with Sentai Filmworks previously announcing their pick up of the series for an eventual home video release with HIDIVE getting the streaming rights for it exclusively this fall with exclusive worldwide rights outside of Asia.
With HIDIVE handling it previously, the series is now slated to arrive on Hulu in both dubbed and subtitled forms on July 3rd,2024.

Shinji Ishihara is directing it based on the scripts written and overseen by Takahiro Nagano. Atsuki Saito is handling the character designs with C2C handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Shinichiro Miki as Master, Ai Kakuma as Fran, Ami Koshimizu as Amanda, and Wataru Hatano as Klimt.
With the series making an October 5th, 2022 premiere for the property, and a second season on the way, HIDIVE handled the dub for the show with Kyle Colby Jones directing it based on the scripts that he worked on with Marta Bechtol.
The English cast includes Melissa Molano as Fran, Ty Mahany as Teacher, John Swasey as Garrus, Molly Search as Nell, Cyrus Rodas as Donadrond, Heath Morrow as Randell, James Marler as Eustace, Antonio Lasanta as Klimt, John Gremillion as Elevent, Natalie Rial as Lily, Andrew Love as Rufus, Mike Boike as Narrator, and Kelly Manison as System. Additional voices include Cameron Nunley, Joe Daniels, Greg Ayres, Shelley Calene-Black, Rob Mungle, and Blake Jackson.
Seven Seas Entertainment previously picked up the light novel and manga adaptation of the work back in 2019. The work comes from writer Yuu Tanaka and illustrator LLO which began in 2015. It’s been getting web chapters for its initial release and then compiled into print volumes where there are eleven of them so far with the series ongoing.
