The light novel series Summoned to Another World for a Second Time was announced as getting an anime adaptation at the end of October 2021 and now some new details have come in. The official site previously revealed a spring 2023 premiere for the series and was previously saw April 8th, 2023 premiere specifically.
Now, Australian distributor Madman Entertainment has scheduled plans for a subtitled-only Blu-ray release that will arrive on September 4th, 2024. The two-disc set will have English subtitles and extras that include:

Motoki Nakanishi is directing the series from the scripts supervised by Yukihito. Mikako Kunii is on board to design the characters while Studio Elle is handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Shunichi Toki as Setsu
- Kaori Maeda as Elka
- Satomi Amano as Yūhi
- Fairouz Ai as Livaia
- Saori Ōnishi as Dezastol
- Takuma Nagatsuka (Miya in SK8 the Infinity) as Toma
- Satomi Akesaka (Tokiwa in Musasi-no) as Loa
- Rina Honizumi (Tsuzura in KAKEGURUI TWIN) as Mineko
- Yui Ogura (Priestess in GOBLIN SLAYER) as Shironeko
- Yurie Kozakai (Yuki in Horimiya) as Ruri
- Miku Ito (Miku in The Quintessential Quintuplets) as Alize
S.S.NiRVERGE∀ is on board to perform the opening theme song “Continue Distortion” while MAYBE ME is performing “Be ambitious!!” as the ending theme song.
The original light novels come from creator Kazuha Kishimoto which began in 2015 and wrapped up in 2016 after starting online initially. Various epilogue chapters were written over the next few years while the manga adaptation began in 2018 and has seven volumes released so far.

Plot Concept: The story focuses on a man who was summoned to another world to become a warrior, and he saved the world. As a result, he became very popular, and he is happily living his life as a normie in this new world. However, one day he gets caught in a trap and is deported back to his original world as a baby.
