It’s a week of Netflix charts for the Japanese side that covers the period of June 3rd, 2024 to June 9th, 2024. Netflix has restructured how they measure things as of the middle of June 2023 so the charts are looking a bit different. The start of the spring season is starting to make itself felt here as we get five anime series charting. This week has a number of anime titles in the mix with Kaiju No. 8 holding at third with the return of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hashira Training Arc. Wind Breaker sticks to the list as does some Slime goodness while new additions include Hierarchy and Giver / Taker.
On the movie side, the chart changes things up a good bit from the previous week. We get the Baki Hanma movie at the top but also the new Gundam SEED project and a pair of Sword Art Online movies charting. Some other recent holds are here like Lumberjack the Monster while Fall comes in at second and Under Paris in third.
