
NHK has a new series that’s slotted for an April 2024 premiere with the announcement of Karasu was Aruji o Erabanai. The novel comes from Shisato Abe and this one is part of the Yatagarasu novel series. With a twenty-episode plan for it, the official site previously revealed an April 6th, 2024 premiere date for it.
Crunchyroll confirmed their pickup of the show with it localized as YATAGARASU: The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master. It’ll be available to viewers in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
The Japanese production is now getting things in order for the eleventh episode that’s due out on June 16th, 2024 with the first preview for it below.
Yoshiaki Kyougoku is directing it from the scripts by Yukiko Yamamuro while Takumo Norita is on board for the character designs and Studio Pierrot with the animation production.

Plot Concept: Karasu wa Aruji o Erabanai centers on a beautiful but eccentric yatagarasu boy named Yukiya, who is selected to become the imperial prince’s retainer. The story unfolds as Yukiya and the prince become embroiled in court intrigue and conspiracies.
