Seven Seas Entertainment has announced the license acquisition of My Boyfriend is a Dog Boys’ Love manga series by KADIRO. The property began serialization in 2022 in Gekkan ACtion magazine for Futabasha and has two volumes released so far in Japan.
The first volume will be released for the first time in the English language in October 2024 for $14.99 USA / $18.99 CAN, with the series available in single-volume editions as part of the Seven Seas BL label (Boys’ Love titles). Ebook editions will also be available on digital platforms.
Plot Concept: Kentarou is a gruff and stoic dogman who can’t help but wag his tail whenever he sees his boyfriend, Inukai. Despite his stern exterior, he’s an affectionate and doting boyfriend. Along with coworker Nekomiya and his feline boyfriend Shimada, Kentarou and Inukai enjoy days filled with sappy partners and heaps of affection!
