A lot of the manga I’d love to see be done as an anime tend to get done as a live-action project and now another one has been given the nod just a few days ago. We previously talked about how tThe Saionji-san wa Kaji o Shinai manga from Satoru Hiura is on track for a live-action TV series in Japan. Translating as No Domestic Work for Ms. Saionji, the show is set for a July 2024 debut on TBS late night. It has Kentaro Takemura, Taichi Imura, Takeyoshi Yamamoto, and Atsushi Watanabe as the directors of the series with Takeshi Miyamoto and Subaru Yamashita on the scripts.
The latest update on the show has come in with a new cast expansion that sets four more characters and their respective actors. Check out their headshots below.

The manga began in 2021 in Be Love for Kodansha and has four volumes released so far and now it’s been revealed that the manga is about to come to an end. The property will wrap up with the May 31st, 2024 release of Be Love magazine marked 07/2024. A fifth and final volume will be scheduled for it soon.
Be Love is a Japanese monthly manga magazine targeting women published by Kodansha. It debuted in September 1980.
Plot Concept: Saionji, a housework-application employee who doesn’t do housework, is enjoying the freedom of single life she’s finally obtained after 38 years! However, she meets Kusumi, a genius engineer from Silicon Valley.
The strange younger man has a big “secret”!
This is a story of love and family, where Saionji-san, who has no housekeeping skills, takes on the challenge!
