A new TV anime adaptation was announced in November 2023 without any details with I Want to Escape from Princess Lessons getting the nod. Now, the official site for it has opened to reveal a planned 2025 premiere along with the main staff and cast and some appealing visuals.
The show will have Shinobu Tagashira as the director working from the series composition by Tomoko Kanemaki. Tagashira is also handling the character designs with EMT Squared on the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Haruka Shiraishi as Leticia
- Jun Fukuyama as Clarke
Known originally as Hikyouiku kara Nigetai Watashi, the light novels began in 2018 and ran for two volumes that are completed. The manga got underway in 2020 with five volumes out so far. The series is released in English by J-Novel Club.
