A new original anime series was in the works with a January 2024 debut with Delusional Monthly Magazine. Pony Canyon is handling the Japanese home video releases and they’ve set a four-volume release that begins on March 20th, 2024. The show is priced at 6,000 yen on DVD and 7,000 yen on Blu-ray and you can see the full schedule and details below. The fourth volume is coming up in a few weeks to bring it all to a close and you can see the final cover below.
The original work is credited to Ichigo Umatami and it has Chizuru Miyawaki as the direct and original character designer. Akane Hirota is handling the character design adaptation while Hiroko Kanasugi is working on the series composition. OLM Team Yoshioka is handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Takahide Ishii as Taro J Suzuki, Kazutomi Yamamoto as Jiro Tanaka, Yusuke Shirai as Saburo, Shunichi Toki as Goro Sato, Rie Kugimiya as Catherine Sue, Tomokazu Sugita as Edward Chi, Anan Furuta as Perch, Yūki Inoue as Noin, Chiwa Saito as Nancy, and Tomomichi Nishimura as Rock.
The opening theme song puts the main cast of four together as a unit called Delusional Monthly Magazine Editorial Department as they perform in character. The ending sequence is going to be the song “SCIENCE” as performed by Shunichi Toki.
