‘Batman – Justice Buster’ Manga By Eiichi Shimizu & Tomohiro Shimoguchi Ending Scheduled

2 min read

DC Comics has a number of interesting properties in manga form and one of the more recent ones is about to draw to a close with Batman – Justice Buster. The series comes from writer Eiichi Shimizu and artist Tomohiro Shimoguchi and is set to wrap up in the May 23rd, 2024 installment of Morning magazine marked 25/2024. It began in 2020 and has three volumes to its name so far with Kodansha to solicit the fourth and final soon.

Shimizu made their debut in 2004 with Muteki Banchou Bakuraige and has over half a dozen more works since then including work on Getter Robo and Ultraman. Shimoguchi debuted in 2004 with the same book and has worked on just about all the same works with Shimizu as a partner.

Morning is a weekly Japanese seinen manga magazine published by Kodansha. It debuted in 1982 as Comic Morning. The digital edition of the magazine is titled Weekly D Morning. It is the sister magazine of Evening and Afternoon.

Plot Concept: Crime in Gotham has gotten so out of control that Batman must step up his arsenal of fabulous toys.

Gotham City has been under the protection of Batman for only a short amount of time, but since the vigilante’s appearance, crime has changed. It’s gotten more bold, more destructive. As Batman tries to rise to meet these new threats, he develops a computer system, ROBIN, to help him analyze and subdue the rising criminal tide and hopefully one day put an end to crime in Gotham.
