The folks at Whip Media have put together their top ten for what’s getting the attention on streaming for the week ending on May 12th, 2024. This week has plenty of new projects that are gaining a lot of attention from multiple services on the original side. The originals side has a lot going on with some of the changes as a few shows have ended recently but it’s no surprise that Fallout has held on so strongly at the top since it landed with all eight episodes and broken some records for the streamer.
X-Men 97 really has done far better than I think a lot of people expected for Disney+ as it takes the top spot once again ahead of its finale with this charting. Star Trek: Discovery is going out on a high note for its final season with a few more episodes to go and still being high on the chart. And the return of Hacks is showing its strength – though I’m waiting until it’s all out before I go back to it since I’m not sure we needed a third season after the second. Apple TV+ grabs two slots here as well with Palm Royale and Sugar.
