A new anime adaptation was announced at Japan Expo 2022 with the manga series The Demon Prince of Momochi House getting the nod. The winter 2024 anime series is getting its home video releases in Japan handled by Aniplex and they’ve set a six-volume releaes for it. The DVDs will be priced at 6,000 yen each while the Blu-rays are at 7,000 yen each with all sets listed as limited editions that include a CD as well.
With the releases underway, we now have a look at the finalized version of the third volume packaging ahead of its release later this month. Check out the full schedule and details below.
The anime adaptation has Bob Shirohata directing it from the scripts supervised by Yasuko Aoki. Mariko Oka is handling the character designs with studio Drive handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Natsumi Kawaida as Himari Momochi, Takeo Ōtsuka as Aoi Nanamori/Nue, Shinnosuke Tachibana as Yukari, Yūki Ono as Ise, Taku Yashiro as Kasha, and Wataru Hatano as Takamura Nachi.
The series features Yoh Kamiyama performing the opening theme song “Hozuki” while Muto is performing the ending theme song “Aiyue.”
The manga from Aya Shouto began in 2013 and was completed in 2019 with sixteen volumes. Viz Media released it completely under their Shojo Beat imprint.

Plot Concept: Himari Momochi inherits a mysterious house that comes with its own gorgeous demon guardian.
On her sixteenth birthday, orphan Himari Momochi inherits her ancestral estate that she’s never seen. Momochi House exists on the barrier between the human and spiritual realms, and Himari is meant to act as guardian between the two worlds. But on the day she moves in, she finds three handsome squatters already living in the house, and one seems to have already taken over her role!
