Details are mostly non-existent at this point, but an anime adaptation of the You Are Ms. Servant manga has been announced for 2024. A key visual and teaser were released for it initially but not much beyond that. With the show set for an October 2024 debut, the latest update has come in with an illustration visual to celebrate the “Maid Day” observation and to remind folks that the property is coming.  Check it out below.

The series is directed by Ayumu Watanabe from the series composition by Deko Akao. Tomoyasu Kurashima handled the character designs with Felix Film on the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes:

  • Reina Ueda as Yuki / Xue
  • Toshiki Kumagai as Hitoyoshi Yokoya

Known originally as Kimi wa Meido-sama, it comes from writer/artist Shotan which began in 2020 as serialized in Sunday Web Every for Shogakukan. It has six volumes out as of the end of 2023 and is listed as ongoing.

Plot Concept: This is the story of a maid who is all alone in the world, but who finally finds a family.

Told from young that her only worth is as a killer, Yuki had known nothing else except cold efficiency and following orders. Now that she has a chance to leave her past behind, she arrives at the doorstep of Hitoyoshi Yokoya, asking to be employed… as a maid?! Thus begins the journey of a former assassin learning what it means to be ‘normal’!
