
A new anime was revealed in October 2023 with the Vampire Dormitory manga is getting done as a TV series. The manga comes from Ema Toyama which began in 2018 and has twelve volumes out as of the end of 2023. Kodansha Comics is bringing it out in English with ten volumes out so far. Crunchyroll will make it available to viewers in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, and India as part of the spring 2024 season.
Now, Japanese production partner Avex Pictures has set the home video releases for there with a three-volume set planned. The show will launch on June 26th, 2024 with the DVDs priced at 10,000 yen each and the Blu-rays at 12,000 yen each. They’ll have three episodes per disc and you can see the full schedule and known details below.
The anime adaptation sees Nobuyoshi Nagayama as the director working from scripts by Touko Machida. Naomi Tsuruta is handling the character designs with Studio Blanc handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Kana Ichinose as Mito Yamamoto, Shunichi Toki as Ruka Saotome, Yuichiro Umehara as Ren Nikaidō, Wataru Hatano as Komori, Yusuke Shirai as Takara Kagurazaka, and Yuki Sakakihara as Juri.
The English dub has Helena Walstrom serving as the ADR director working from the adaptation by Jessica Sluys. The English dub cast includes Comona Lewin as Ruka, Nia Celeste as Mito, Nick Huber as Ren, Bradley Gareth as Komori, Matt Shipman as Takara, and Lexi Nieto as Juri.
The series features the opening theme song is “Sugar Blood Kiss” as performed by the FANTASTICS. The duo Every Little Thing will perform “Mata Ashita” as the ending theme song.

Plot Concept: BLOOD OVER FLOWERS
Mito has no family to rely on. She lives on the streets, disguised as a boy. Ruka is an otaku vampire interested only in 2D girls. After Ruka saves Mito from a perilous situation, he makes her an offer: “Become my subservient thrall and let me drink your blood whenever I wish! In return, you can live with me—in the boys’ dorm!” But to stay with him, Mito must hide the fact that she’s a girl. Every day is a new danger—to say nothing of that bloodthirsty vampire!
