With the first season that came out in 2014, The Irregular at Magic High School is getting ready to come back for more. The official site through its social media below revealed that a sequel production has been decided with a ten-second teaser spot below attached to it back in December 2021. The season is set for an April 5th, 2024 debut with Jimmy Stone directing it after working on other elements of previous works in the franchise at 8-Bit. Munemasa Nakomoto is on board for the script with Kana Ishida serving as the character designer and chief animation director on it.
The latest update for this show has come in from the Japanese side of the production as they’ve revealed the first preview of the sixth episode due out tomorrow.
Crunchyroll will be making the show available to viewers in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, and India.
The Japanese cast has several returning cast members confirmed so far Saori Hayami as Miyuki Shiba, Yūichi Nakamura as Tatsuya Shiba, and Kiyono Yasuno as Minami Sakurai.
The newly announced cast includes:

- Takuma Terashima as Leonhart Saijo
- Satomi Satou as Mizuki Shibata
- Atsushi Tamaru as Mikihiko Yoshida
- Sora Amamiya as Honoka Mitsui

- Emiri Katō as Fumiya Kuroba
- Kana Hanazawa as Mayumi Saegusa
- Eri Kitamura as Kasumi Saegusa
- Aoi Yūki as Izumi Saegusa
- Koji Yusa as Zhou Gongjin
LiSA is on board to perform the opening theme song, which is known as “Shouted Serenade.”
