A new original anime series was revealed as in production in the summer of 2022 with the debut of Highspeed Etoile. The spring 2023 series has King Amusement Creative Sonic Blade, Yostar, Good Smile Company, and Super Formulabehind it and King Creative is handling the Japanese home video releases. they’ve gone for a Blu-ray-only route where it’ll be a six-disc set where the first set has one episode and the last set has three while the rest have two. Pricing is done at 4,000 yen for the first, 10,000 yen for the last, and the rest at 7,000 yen.

The series was directed by Keitoaro Motonaga from the series composition by Takamitsu Kono. Takuya Fujima handled the character designs with Studio A-Cat on the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Fūka Izumi as Rin Rindo, Yōko Hikasa as Kanata Asakawa, Shiori Izawa as Towa Komachi, Yui Horie as Sofia B. (Bryant) Tokitou, Ayaka Suwa as Youran Liu, Nana Mizuki as Alice Summerwood, Kenichirō Matsuda as Richard Parker, Kousuke Toriumi as Lorenzo M. Salvatore, Yurie Funato as Prima Stella’s Hikari Hinata, Shū Uchida as Prima Stella’s Akari Kuzuryū, Tōru Furuya as the narrator, Yoko Hikasa as Sofia B Tokitou, Shiori Izawa as Youran Ryu, and Yukari Tamura as the interactive AI program ami.
The opening is performing the opening theme song “ADRENALIZED” while SCANDAL is performing “Fanfare” as the ending theme song.

Plot Concept: The anime takes place in the near future, where the latest technology has made it so vehicles can travel at 500 km/h (about 310 mph) safely and securely. A next-generation race event called NEX Race is born, which changes the world of racing. NEX Racing features AI control support and a “Revolburst” mechanism. A newcomer named Rin Rindoh will make her debut in NEX Race, and will further revolutionize the sport.
The show follows the character Rin Rindoh. Rin once had a dream of becoming a ballet dancer but had to give up on that dream due to an injury. Afterward, she became a NEET and a gamer who lived in her grandmother’s house. But one day she is suddenly thrown into the world of racing.
