A new TV anime was announced in January 2023 with the adaptation of The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess light novels. The original work comes from Kotei Kobayashi with Richu that’s handled by GA Bunko. The property has ten volumes out as of January 2023 with Yen Press releasing it in English.
The fall 2023 anime series is getting its home video releases handled by DMM Pictures and they’ve set a three-volume release on Blu-ray only. The sets began on January 31st, 2023 where they’re priced at 12,000 yen each. With the second set just out, we now have the full packaging spread for it below.

The show was directed by Tatsuma Minamikawa with series composition by Keiichiro Ochi. Tomoyuki Shitaya is handling the character designs for with project No. 9 handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Tomori Kusunoki as Terakomari Gandesblood, Sayumi Suzushiro as Villhaze, Yoko Hikasa as Karen Helvetius, Miyuri Shimabukuro as Karla Amatsu, Fairouz Ai as Nelia Cunningham, Manaka Iwami as Sakuna Memoir, Sora Amamiya as Millicent Bluenight, Reina Ueda as Melca Tiano, Saku Mizuno as Tio Flat, Rina Hidaka as Gertrude, Hina Kino as Koharu Minenaga, Natsuki Hanae as Kaoster, Masaaki Mizunaka as Bellius Innu Kelborough, Tasuku Hatanaka as Meleconshi, Yusuke Kobayashi as Johan Heldas, and Jun Fukushima as Alman Gundisvlad.
The opening theme song is “Red Liberation” as performed by fripSide while the ending theme song “Nemurenai feat. Kusunoki Tomori” was performed by MIMiNARI.
