Known originally as Inazuma to Romance, the Lightning and Romance manga has been announced as going on hiatus. The property from Rin Mikimoto hasn’t set a return date for when it’ll come back but it was confirmed that the sixth volume will arrive in Japan on June 13th, 2024. The series sees an English release through Kodansha Manga while Pika handles the French release.
The series began in 2021 in Bessatsu Friend for Kodansha who saw their first published work in 2003 with Junai 100 Percent and Wild Diamond. They have over a dozen titles since their debut.
Plot Concept: Despite living with her overprotective father, Sumire still wants to experience a lot of things—most importantly, a life-changing romance. Her second year of high school has just begun when she meets her new seatmate. The catch? He’s a mysterious 20-something troublemaker, Ninomiya Leo. Will this be a start of a love that will change her world?
