A new anime adaptation is in the works from a light novel source with I’m a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic from writer Nazuna Miki. The light novels are known originally as Botsuraku Yotei no Kizoku dakedo, Hima datta kara Mahō wo Kiwamete Mita, it began in 2019 and has eight volumes in print so far. J-Novel Club will be releasing the series in English starting next month.
The anime adaptation has set Kenichi Ishikura as the director working from the scripts overseen by Tatsuya Takahashi. Midori Otsuka is on board for the character designs with Studio DEEN and Marvy Jack handling the animation production.
