The anime adaptation of the light novel series Classroom of the Elite back in August 2018 went over generally well and it saw both streaming and home video releases in North America and beyond. We learned back in February 2022 that a sequel season has gotten the green light and then in March 2022 that a third season was in the works as well.
While the plan originally was for the third season to land in 2023, it ended up being rescheduled for a January 2024 debut and Crunchyroll picked it up for viewers in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS when it arrives.
With the series making a January 3rd, 2024 premiere, the latest update brings us a new clip from the ninth episode of the season. He kicked Sakayanagi’s cane!
The new season features the opening theme song “Minor Piece” from ZAQ and the ending theme song “Konsei dai Kakumei” from Yui Ninomiya below.

The students there have the freedom to wear any hairstyle and bring any personal effects they desire. Kōdo Ikusei is a paradise-like school, but the truth is that only the most superior of students receive favorable treatment. The protagonist Kiyotaka Ayanokōji is a student of D-class, which is where the school dumps its “inferior” students in order to ridicule them. For a certain reason, Kiyotaka was careless on his entrance examination and was put in D-class. After meeting Suzune Horikita and Kikyō Kushida, two other students in his class, Kiyotaka’s situation begins to change.
