A new anime adaptation debuted in the winter 2024 season with the Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?! manga. Avex Pictures is handling the home video releases in Japan and they’ve set a two-set release for the show on Blu-ray only. They’ll arrive on March 27th, 2024 and May 29th, 2924 respectively and priced at 18,000 yen each. Check out the details below.
With the first set coming up soon, we’re still waiting on finalized cover artwork for it but have now gotten a preview of what it should be, at least in part.
The show is directed by Yoshiko Okuda from the scripts overseen by Tomoko Konparu. Takahiro Kishida is handling the character designs with Satelight handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Chiaki Kobayashi as Kiyoshi Adachi, Ryota Suzuki as Yuichi Kuorsaw, Makoto Furukawa as Masato Tsuge, Gen Sato as Minato Wataya, Yusuke Shirai as Yuta Rokkaku, and Ami Koshimizu as Nozomi Fujisaki.
The property from Yu Toyota began in 2018 as serialized on Gangn pixiv with Square Enix bringing it out in print with twelve volumes as of July 2023. Square Enix Manga releases it in English as well.
