Manga Entertainment originally released First Squad: Moment of Truth (DVD / BD Reviews) back in January of 2012 and with the company going through a few stages of ownership over the years, it eventually ended up with Lionsgate and has been left fallow for much of that time.
Now, the property has been added to the YouTube Movies & TV channel from the distributor with it available in its subtitled form here or below.
Plot concept: During the opening days of World War II on the Eastern Front, a group of Soviet teenagers, each with an extraordinary ability, are drafted to form a special unit to fight the invading German army. They are opposed by a Schutzstaffel (SS) officer who is attempting to raise from the dead a supernatural army of crusaders from the 12th Century Order of the Sacred Cross and enlist them in the Nazi cause.
