Koshi Mizukami & Kaho Joins The ‘Blue Moment’ Manga Adaptation Live-Action Series

Another interesting manga series is on track with a live-action adaptation with the Blue Moment work getting the nod. Announced in December 2023, it’s set for an April 2024 premiere on Fuji TV. It’s being adapted by Hideya Hamada for the scripts.

The latest update to arrive has revealed that Koshi Mizukami has joined as Yūgo Sonobe while Kaho will play an original character named Sagiri. Check out the preview image below.

The Japanese cast includes:

  • Tomohisa Yamashita as Kankuro Haruhara
  • Natsuki Deguchi as Aya Kumota
  • Koshi Mizukami as Yūgo Sonobe
  • Kaho as Sagiri

The manga from Kana Oazawa began in 2019 as serialized in Comic Bridge for Kadokawa and has two volumes out. Ozawa’s known for their Blue Thermal series as well.

Plot Concept: The property focuses on Aya Kumoda, a girl who recently started working at the Japan Meteorological Agency, where she meets a handsome man named Kankurō Haruhara. As she gets to know him, she also discovers that he is a worker in the SDM, a front-line disaster response unit.
