
NHK has a new series that’s slotted for an April 2024 premiere with the announcement of Karasu was Aruji o Erabanai. The novel comes from Shisato Abe and this one is part of the Yatagarasu novel series. No details regarding the adaptation were revealed at the time but now with the release of a new promo and visual below, we have the staff and cast.
Yoshiaki Kyougoku is directing it from the scripts by Yukiko Yamamuro while Takumo Norita is on board for the character designs and Studio Pierrot with the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Mutsumi Tamura as Yukiya
- Miyu Irino as the Imperial Prince

Plot Concept: Karasu wa Aruji o Erabanai centers on a beautiful but eccentric yatagarasu boy named Yukiya, who is selected to become the imperial prince’s retainer. The story unfolds as Yukiya and the prince become embroiled in court intrigue and conspiracies.
