The summer 2020 anime adaptation of the Rent-A-Girlfriend manga is having its home video releases handled by DMM Pictures and they’ve set a solid plan. The first two seasons were released as four-volume projects that began on October 28th, 2020. It’s a Blu-ray-only release that has each set priced at 9,500 yen each. The summer 2022 second season is following the same pattern and pricing and is set to begin on October 26th, 2022 for the same number of volumes.
With the third season, we’re getting just two releases to cover it with November 29th, 2023, and December 20th, 2023 set for it. They’re priced the same as the four volumes combined at 18,000 yen per set, so you’re not saving there other than in space and number of releases.

The series was directed by Kazuomi Koga based on the scripts from Mitsutaka Hirota. Kanna Hirayama adapted the character designs with TMS Entertainment working on the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Sora Amamiya as Chizuru Mizuhara, Aoi Yūki as Mami Nanami, Nao Tōyama as Ruka Sarashina, Rie Takahashi as Sumi Sakrasawa, Shun Horie as Kazuya Kinoshita, Yukari Nozawa as Nagomi Kinoshita, Masayuki Akasaka as Yoshiaki Kibe, and Gakuto Kajiwara as Shun Kuribayashi.
The manga from Reiji Miyajima began in 2017 and has twelve volumes to its name as of its anime announcement. The property is serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine with Kodansha Comics bringing it out in English in 2020.
The Peggies perform the opening song while halca handles the ending theme song.
