The Spy x Family manga from Tatsuya Endo has been doing pretty well in Japan and abroad as a bit of a crossover property with some real potential. The series saw an April 9th, 2022 premiere and it’s planned for the spring and fall season for its twenty-five-episode run. To the shock of everyone involved, the property proved popular! So much so that a second season was given the green light pretty quickly at the end of December 2022 with plans for a 2023 debut.

With the second TV season seeing an October 7th, 2023 premiere date, the official site is now doing a bit of promotion of the latest episode of the season, the thirty-fifth overall, that came out on December 9th, 2023. A new key visual was released from the episode that may make a few of you tear up.

The property began in Shonen Jump+ in 2019 and has had digital chapters released in English at the same time. There are currently eight volumes in print in Japan with it ongoing; sales are over eleven million copies in print so far. Check out our review of the first eleven chapters.
