Crunchyroll Adds ‘Tadaima, Okaeri’ Boys-Love Manga Anime Adaptation For 2024 Lineup

The manga series Tadaima, Okaeri is getting an anime adaptation as announced in September 2023. The show is set for a 2024 broadcast on TV, and the staff were revealed previously. Now, Crunchyroll has announced their pickup of the show for streaming with it set to be available to audiences in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.

Shinji Ishihara is directing it from scripts overseen by Yoshiko Nakamura. Mina Osawa is handling the character designs with Studio DEEN on the animation production.

The boys-love manga comes from Ichi Ichikawa which began in 2016 and has four volumes out as of 2019 as the manga has been on hiatus.

Plot Concept: The manga’s story tells the daily life of Masaki Fujiyoshi, a stay-at-home husband who has no self-confidence, his elite salaryman husband Hiromu, and their two-year-old son Hikari. Together, they overcome life’s joy and sadness and become more of a “family” every day.
