A new TV anime is in our future as revealed in late April 2023. The Oroka na Tenshi wa Akuma to Odoru anime adaptation is set for a 2024 premiere and a new update has landed for the project. With Crunchyroll picking it up previously, the Japanese side recently set a January 2024 premiere for it. The latest update from the Japanese side of things comes in the form of a new promotional video as it’s set for a January 8th, 2024 debut. THe promo showcases the ending theme song from Kaori Ishihara.
The series, which translates as Stupid Angel Dances with the Devil, has set Itsuro Kawasaki as the director and also working on the series composition. Yuko Yahiro is handling the character designs while Children’s Playground Entertainment will be handling the animation production.

The manga is from Sawayoshi Azuma which began in 2016 and has its fifteenth volume out this week in Japan. It’s not currently getting a release in English by anyone.
Plot Concept: The romantic comedy is about Masatora Akutsu, who has come to the human world to search for an idol for demons. Akutsu meets Lily Amane and invites her to join him. However, he learns that Amane’s true identity is an angel, and he attempts to make her fall from grace.
