‘Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance’ ONA Anime Series Sets Netflix Streaming With New Promo

A new original net animation project is coming from Bandai Namco Filmworks for the Gundam franchise with Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance. The six-episode series is getting worldwide streaming when it lands as it focuses on an event during the One Year War on the European front.

The latest update on the project has now come in with Netflix being listed as the streaming service for it and a new promo being released as well below.

The project is an interesting one as it’s being done utilizing Unreal Engine 5 and the material shown highlights actor Celia Massingham doing the lead voice and the motion capture for it as well. Check out the message video from the director, Erasmus Brosdau, that goes into more of the project. Gavin Hignight worked on the script for it while Manuel Augusto Dischinger Moura served as the main character designer.

Plot Concept: Focusing on the European front of the One Year War, which was the setting of the first Gundam series “Mobile Suit Gundam” (1979), the new animated series “Mobile Suit Gundam: Requem for Vengeance” is a joint production with SAFEHOUSE, Inc. that is made with Unreal Engine 5 and aimed at audiences worldwide.
