The first release week of October is here when it comes to home video releases and while we cover the anime side specifically elsewhere, we have a look at the more general market today. This week is definitely on the busy side overall with some solid films landing and some rereleases worth checking out.
On the new film side, this week has a few things coming out with the big one being the release of Prey from Disney after its Hulu premiere last year. We also get the release of Talk to Me from Lionsgate. There are a lot of indie distributors getting new projects out today to check out as well.
On the re-release side, there are a couple of good films getting a new lease on life with the folks at Paramount bringing out the third Scream film on UHD along with the original trilogy box set.
On the TV side, this week has some NCIS material and more RWBY alongside a trio of Hallmark projects.
