A new anime adaptation is in our future with the June 2022 announcement that the Konyaku Haki Sareta Reijō o Hirotta Ore ga, Ikenai Koto o Oshiekomu ~Oishi Mono o Tabesasete Oshare o Sasete, Sekai Ichi Shiawase na Shōjo ni Produce!~ novels are in development. Set for a fall 2023 premiere, the show has an October 4th, 2023 debut set on TOKYO MIX with it rolling out to other networks over the next few days. Ahead of that, the clean versions of the opening and closing sequences have now been added.
The show has Takashi Asami set to direct it from the scripts overseen by Hiroki Uchida. Miori Suzuki is handling the character designs with Zero-G and Digital Network Animation handling the production.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Tomokazu Sugita as Allen Crawford
- Saori Hayami as Charlotte Evans
- Lynn as Eruka Crawford
- Naomi Ozoro as Miaha Basutetosu
- Kaori Maeda as Natalia Evans
The opening theme song is “Ikenai Etranger” from Yui Hizuki.”
The property translatest as I Picked Up a Rich Girl Whose Betrothal was Canceled and Teach Her to Be Naughty ~I’ll Make Her Eat Delicious Food, Wear Fancy Clothes, and Be the Happiest Girl in the World! and comes from writer Sametaro Fukada which began in 2019. A manga is also underway with Ichiho Katsura handling it.
